Samsung made it official at MWC this past week. The world's largest smartphone, with an 8 inch screen, has turned the phablet into the tabphone. This tablet sized phone does everything the Note 2 does, with a lot more screen real estate. Of course, nobody would put this thing up to their ear to make a phone call, would they? Hmmm... it would certainly draw attention to an attention seeking geek with some hubris. Not the FutureLawyer certainly, who is a wallflower who doesn't like to call attention to himself in public. But, I digress. This is not just a big, honking phone. It is a high end, high spec, hybrid device that does it all. That said, I am perfectly happy with the Note 2 screen size, and I don't even need to carry my Nexus 7 tablet around much anymore. For long reading stints, I still pick up my Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has an LTE chip so I don't have to go looking for a WiFi signal.
