furniture and interior design for all spaces on the IU campuses. Serves as project manager or team member on facilities projects as
assigned. Develops plans for interior design, furnishings, and interior finishes independently or in consultation with supervisors or
outside experts. Reviews and approves interior design, furnishings, and interior finishes required for capital projects or requested by
departments.
Establishes vendor contacts and conducts product research. Consults with departments, writes specifications, develops budget recommendations, updates database and progress schedule reports, and supervises outside designers. Remains current on regulations. Establishes interior design standards for all campuses and leads other IU designers regarding interior design standards.

REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or similar field and five years of experience, including State of Indiana Interior Designer License or current NCIDQ certificate.
Proficiency with AutoCAD systems; REVIT proficiency a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of common business furniture systems.
Preferred: LEED AP and ten or more years of experience.
